The phototherapy lamp MIZAR allows to make the phototherapy from upper side and lower side, and also radiant heating, unique of its kind, which is very functional for the emergency of phototherapy and heating.
Mizar gives the young patient in a short time, a remarkable therapeutic potency for photosynthesis for bilirubin and an efficient servo-controlled heating.
MIZAR consists in:
an upper ceiling light;
a lower ceiling light;
a cradle printed in transparent plastic PET with rounded edges;
mattress AQUAGEL for building up the heat, permeable rays for phototherapy, dimensions of the mattress: 60 x 35 cm;
trolley dedicated to enable the cradle to assume different positions (Trendelemburg & Fowler), pivoting on four wheels (two with brake).
The upper ceiling light has:
6 power blu LED for phototherapy: total irradiance max > 1.000 µw/cm2 for a distance 90 cm;
4 power white LED for lighting of the field;
quartz tube infrared for radiant heating from 350W.
The lower ceiling light has:
6 power blue LED for phototherapy: total irradiance max > 2.500 µw/cm2 for a distance 25 cm;
cover in transparent plastic according to the security standards.
An advanced control panel and control microprocessor is located in front of the upper ceiling light. This control panel has the following functions:
Manual and servo-controlled thermoregulation according to the patient temperature;
Temperature control of patient with skin probe;
Control of Radiated Power (%);
Button for 12 blu LEDs for phototherapy;
Button for 4 white LEDs for lighting;
Memory for storing set values in case of mains failure;
Soft touch key;
"Set" key for safety control;
Electronic time counter.
